2026 Glasgow Imaging Network Symposium Oral Presentation Prize April 23, 2026 Kay Polland was thrilled to be awarded the Runner-up best oral presentation prize at the 2026 Glasgow Imaging Network Symposium, where she presented her work on assessing structures in diseased tonsils using Fourier ptychographic microscopy. She found the meeting an excellent event, hosted by Cancer Research UK Scotland Institute, and it was a great opportunity for her to connect with early career researchers from institutions around Glasgow. The symposium gave Kay the opportunity to see a variety of interesting talks and posters from research disciplines revolving around imaging, from 3D printed optics to single molecule studies of viruses. Many congratulations to Kay.
