PhD Students present at School’s Careers and Insights Event

Reece Bond and Dimona Videnlieva, currently in the second year of their MRS-funded PhD Studentships, took part in a Careers and Insights event at St George’s School, Edinburgh on 7 October 2026. It was a fantastic opportunity for Reece and Dimona to engage with motivated pupils and show them the range of careers in the medical research field, and the positive impact research can have.

Reece and Dimona provided interactive practical demonstrations and Reece gave a talk on research pathways across all fields of science, highlighting the contribution research makes to society. They both had a great time, and they hope the pupils did too!
