RSC-BMCS Postgraduate Symposium XVII Poster Success

Daniel Webb attended the Royal Society of Chemistry – Biological and Medicinal Chemistry Sector (RSC-BMCS) Postgraduate Symposium XVII, held at the University of Oxford in January 2024, where he presented a short talk and poster of his PhD research titled: ‘Activin Receptor-like Kinase 2 Degradation as a Novel Therapeutic Strategy Towards the Treatment of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma’ and was awarded a runner-up prize in the poster competition. Following on from the event, Daniel has been invited to present a short talk at the Royal Society of Chemistry – Biological and Medicinal Chemistry Sector (RSC-BMCS) 8th Mastering Medicinal Chemistry Symposium in London, in March – good luck with the presentation Daniel.

Daniel’s PhD research is focussed on using targeted protein degradation to develop new therapies for central nervous system diseases, and is being conducted at the University of Strathclyde in collaboration with Charles River Laboratories.
