Dissecting mRNA localization mechanisms in Drosophila University of Dundee Past award Student: Elmira Ahmedova : University of Dundee Year Award Started: 2017 The correct function of cells depends on an inner organisation. To understand how this internal organisation or internal infrastructure is established is important to understand how cells work alone or in conjunction with others. This project adresses a class of molecules helping the cell to organise its interior. We ask what the role of candidate molecules in the larger context of a complex system like the cell is.
