The NAD kinase HSP20 complex University of Glasgow Past award Student: Kristina Tomkova : University of Glasgow Year Award Started: 2018 The proposed project aims to define the molecular composition of a newly uncovered complex containing two proteins, heat shock protein 20 (HSP20) and NAD kinase (NADK) that may be implicated in disease progression. Using biochemical approaches and ‘peptide chip’ technology, we will verify the interaction and delineate the binding sites of the two interacting partners. It is expected that the knowledge generated from these studies will advance our understanding on how these proteins function in cells.
